The water phone
The Samsung S5 is one of the new breed of waterproof smart phones. First thoughts were just hundreds of underwater point-of-view portraits as seen from inside the toilet. Could we show in a subtler, simpler way what this means to the average teen?
The problem
Samsung were launching their first waterproof phone. Other than toilets no longer being a risk, what would be a positive way to promote this?
The insight
Rather than remove a danger, a waterproof phone opens up a world of opportunity. You can do more.
The idea
What do you primarily use your phone for? What do you do in the water? Then combine the two. Having fun is literally a social event, so you want to have your phone with you everywhere.
